About the Authority
Roads General Authority is a governmental organization that was established by a decision of the Council of Ministers on August 2, 2022. It holds public legal status and operates with financial and administrative independence. The authority is under the administrative affiliation of the Minister of Transport and Logistics. Its headquarters are based in Riyadh. The primary responsibility of the authority is to legislate and regulate the road sector, ensuring compliance to enhance traffic safety and quality standards. This involves the development and standardization of policies, as well as the implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions
